2026-27 Home Opener Dates Announced

Allan Cup Hockey League (ACHL) today released the dates for each member clubs home opener for the 202-27 regular season.

The defending back-to-back Robertson Cup Champion Wentworth Gryphins will once again open the regular season schedule for the league on Thursday October 22nd when they host the St. Catharines Saints at the Harry Howell Arena. Home openers will continue that weekend with the Cambridge Hornets on Friday, as well as Stoney Creek and the Saints on Saturday.

Dundas will be the final team to host a home opener which won’t take place until Friday November 27th after playing five road games.

The remainder of the 2026-27 Allan Cup Hockey schedule will be released on Wednesday, September 9th at 11am.

Wentworth Home Opener – Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 7:30pm – Harry Howell Arena
Cambridge Home Opener – Friday, October 23, 2026 at 8:00pm – Galt Arena Gardens
Stoney Creek Home Opener – Saturday October 24, 2026 at 6:30pm – Stoney Creek Arena
St. Catharines Home Opener – Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 7:30pm – Merritton Centennial Arena
Dundas Home Opener – Friday November 27, 2026 at 7:30pm – J.L. Grightmire Arena
