Allan Cup Challenge Playoff Seeding Announced
Following the conclusion of play on Tuesday, the Allan Cup Challenge committee announced the seeding of the five teams for the playoff portion of the 2026 tournament.
Tuesday night saw the Clarenville Caribous defeat the Minto 81s. With the victory, the Caribous secured the top seed and will take on the Stoney Creek Tigers in the one-versus-two game on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. (6:00 p.m. Eastern). The winner will advance directly to the championship game on Saturday afternoon, while the losing team will move on to Friday's semi-final.
Wednesday will also feature the tournament's first elimination game at 3:00 p.m. (1:30 p.m. Eastern), as Minto takes on the Wentworth Gryphins. The winner will advance to face the Conception Bay Blues — the tournament hosts, who finished third — on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. (6:00 p.m. Eastern).
Saturday's championship game will be broadcast live across Canada on CHCH TV, starting at 4:30 p.m. (3:00 p.m. Eastern).
