Allan Cup Visits Waterdown Ribfest

Wentworth Gryphin players Matt Beca, Tyler VanKleef, and Mitchell Payne, along with team owner Rod Millard, brought the Allan Cup trophy to the 2025 Waterdown Ribfest drawing plenty of attention and excitement from festivalgoers. The visit is part of a consistent broader effort to promote the league and generate interest ahead of what promises to be an exciting season of expansion and league growth.
With the championship hardware in tow, the Gryphin's made an impression, sparking conversations and building connections with fans, families, and curious newcomers. The presence of the Allan Cup served not only as a symbol of
historic high-level hockey but also as a reminder of what the Gryphins strive for, continued excellence and a lasting legacy.
