Player and Goalie of the Week - Week #17

The Allan Cup Hockey League is pleased to announce its Players of the Week for the week ending February 22nd, recognizing Niki Petti of the St. Catharines Saints as Player of the Week and Dawson Carty of the Wentworth Gryphins as Goalie of the Week.

Petti delivered a standout performance in Week 17, tallying five goals across the week — four of which came in a single dominant showing Saturday night as the Saints defeated the league-leading Stoney Creek Tigers. Among his markers was a shorthanded goal and the game-winning tally, underscoring his impact in a pivotal matchup.

Carty was equally impressive between the pipes for Wentworth on Thursday night, stopping 37 of 38 shots in a victory over the Dundas Real McCoys. The strong outing helped keep the Gryphins' hopes of finishing in first place very much alive.
