Player and Goalie of the Week - Week #18

The Allan Cup Hockey League is pleased to announce its final weekly awards for the week ending March 1st. This week, the Saints swept the honours, with Niki Petti earning his second consecutive Player of the Week award and Trevor Micucci being named Goalie of the Week.
Petti delivered a standout Week 18 performance, playing a pivotal role in securing the team's postseason berth. Across two must-win games, he tallied four goals and four assists, including a game-winning goal against the Dundas Real McCoys.
Micucci took the crease in back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday, backstopping both crucial victories for the Saints. Over the two outings, he allowed seven goals while turning aside 53 shots, picking up his third consecutive win in as many starts.
An honourable mention goes to the Stoney Creek Tigers' Josh Roman, who made his first career ACHL start on Saturday and earned the win against defending league and Allan Cup champions, the Wentworth Gryphons. In the victory, he allowed just three goals while making 28 saves.
