For the third consecutive year, the Allan Cup Hockey League and Ontario Hockey Association will support the Allan Cup Challenge tournament. The 2025 event will be hosted by the Wentworth Gryphins and played out of the Harry Howell Arena in Waterdown, Ontario, running from April 20th to 26th.

This year's tournament will differ from the previous two years by featuring six teams, four from Ontario and two from Newfoundland-Labrador . Five of the six teams have already been confirmed: the reigning Allan Cup Champions Dundas Real McCoys, Stoney Creek Tigers, Wentworth Gryphins, Clarenville Ford Caribous, and the St. John’s Rooftech Capitals. The final team to join the field will be the Senior AA champions of the Ontario Elite Hockey League.

Teams will compete in two divisions and will only play within their division for the round robin. The team that finishes first in each division will receive a bye to the semi-finals which will be held on Friday April 25th and will face the winners of the crossover quarterfinals which are scheduled for Wednesday April 23rd.

Division one will be comprised of Clarenville, Dundas and Stoney Creek while Division two will be comprised of Saint John’s, the OEHL Champions and Wentworth.

Fans that won’t be able to attend the Saturday April 26th championship game will be able to catch the game on television and on the internet thanks to CHCH TV. For the second straight year, CHCH will broadcast the championship coast to coast and across the world online.

Ticket package information for the event will be released in the coming weeks.
